Hey Friends 👋🏻
Welcome to the very first issue of my brand new newsletter “Debugging Life”. This will be a space where I share what I am learning, building and some helpful tools I have found. I will also share the latest news in tech. I hope you enjoy and thanks for reading!
📰 News of the week
React 19.2 – React
The library for web and native user interfaces

From dance to code — follow my journey from performing on stage to building apps, learning tech, and finding a new creative outlet in development.

Debugging isn’t just a coding skill — it’s a mindset. It’s how you face challenges, slow down chaos, and find clarity in the mess.
As a performer turned developer, you’ve lived this in both worlds — rehearsing choreography until it works just right and debugging lines of code until the logic flows.
🎓 Learning: Google UX Design
Diving into user experience design fundamentals — wireframes, usability testing, and crafting interfaces that feel intuitive. I’m excited to bring that human-centered mindset into my developer work.
💡 Building: Rhythm Visualiser
An idea for dance enthusiasts and choreographers — upload any track and get its BPM, dance style, and a visual pulse that highlights timing (for example, the syncopated beats of a cha-cha). Still in concept stage, but I’m excited about where it could go.
✅ This Week’s To-Do’s
Here’s what I’m focusing on this week — keeping it simple and actionable 👇
🎨 Finalise UX course module on wireframing and prototyping
🧠 Continue planning the Rhythm Visualiser MVP (audio analysis + UI mockup)
✍️ Draft my next blog posts.
💭 Weekly Thought
Creativity isn’t just about adding new things — sometimes it’s about removing what doesn’t belong.
Whether you’re debugging code or refining a design, clarity often comes when you simplify.
See you next week 👋🏻
Stephen
